Remarkable adaptability

Brane™ transformers use a variety of techniques to provide the flexibility required by modern applications. They offer a choice of transformation policies that provide best-practice alternatives. Each policy consists of a set of rules, and can therefore be customized and new policies added. Individual elements undergoing transformation can have a list of directives known as a mark that the transformer observes.

While many applications can be completely derived from models, Brane™ leverages Eclipse and other technologies to ensure that developers can customize, tune and extend the results to ensure complete compliance with business and technical requirements. Brane™ applications are comprised of a set of Eclipse plug-ins, which provide explicitly defined extension points for customization. And since the Brane™ Platform is also a Brane™ application, Brane™ extension points enable developers to extend the Brane™ Platform itself.
